Automation Library
Automation Library is the account-backed home for saved automation assets. It is where the Cloud Workspace stores and organises files that can be opened from the browser or used by Flow Canvas.
What it stores
Automation Library can hold supported asset families such as:
- Macros.
- Functions.
- Flow Canvas flows.
- Saved images.
- Supported saved audio.
The exact limits depend on your current account entitlement and active plan. When an asset family has a quota or retention rule, the workspace should show that limit in the relevant account or library surface.
What you can do
- Import supported automation files.
- Create folders and organise assets.
- Open macros in Macro Editor.
- Open flows in Flow Canvas.
- Preview browser-readable images and supported audio.
- Move, rename, or delete library assets where supported.
Flow Canvas connection
Flow Canvas can read from and write to Automation Library through supported library nodes. For example, a flow can list assets, get an asset, save a supported result, move an asset, or delete an asset after explicit setup.
Flow Canvas library actions use the same account rules as the Library page. If a quota is full, the operation should stop rather than silently creating a runnable asset outside your plan limits.
Important boundaries
- Automation Library is not the same thing as the local files on your desktop.
- Cloud subscriptions expand workspace limits while active, but do not grant Desktop Pro download access by themselves.
- Some assets can be opened or previewed in the browser; desktop playback still requires a linked desktop where the action needs Windows-side execution.
