May 2026: Cloud workspace and website

This is a curated summary for people using the optional online workspace. Local desktop-only use is unchanged unless noted.
Highlights
- Flow Canvas added desktop-aware Action nodes, a Check Desktop Condition node, and a Message Prompt action for flows that work with a linked Windows desktop.
- Desktop Map added a Collect desktop map shortcut that opens Flow Canvas with a ready-made capture flow.
- Automation Library, Profile, Dashboard, and Settings received focused usability and readability fixes.
- Public legal and purchase pages were refreshed so Desktop Pro, cloud subscriptions, workspace limits, and retention are described more accurately.
Flow Canvas
- The new Action category includes desktop-ready building blocks such as Move Mouse, Mouse Click, Mouse Drag, Keyboard Text, Key Press / Hotkey, Wait, Clipboard, Mouse Wheel, Window, Launch Application, and Message Prompt.
- Check Desktop Condition lets a flow branch through True, False, or Error based on a condition checked by the linked desktop.
- Desktop Snapshot, Capture Screenshot, and Refresh Desktop Map can be run directly from their own node, not only as part of a full flow. Capture Screenshot can also hand off to a connected Display Image node for a quick visual check.
- Refresh Desktop Map gained guided filters for monitor scope and the kinds of observed information to merge, such as windows, regions, text blocks, controls, screenshot references, and anchor candidates.
- Use Anchor, Verify Anchors, and Capture Anchors received clearer one-node run behavior and better reuse of the latest captured anchor data. Use Anchor can remember the selected anchor for later one-node runs.
- Desktop Action (Dispatch) now uses friendlier command-specific fields and a collapsible advanced JSON view for people who need to inspect or override the generated payload.
- Run Function is direct execution only. The older “load into editor, then run” mode is not presented as a current option.
- Flow Canvas also added a grid background option in canvas display settings.
Desktop-aware Flow Canvas nodes need a signed-in account and a linked desktop where the node requires Windows-side information or playback.
Automation Library and assets
- The Automation Library sidebar now stays inside its panel at narrower browser widths. Folder names truncate cleanly instead of overflowing the left rail.
Desktop linking and monitoring
- Desktop Map now has a Collect desktop map action that opens a ready-made Flow Canvas chain: Manual Trigger, Desktop Snapshot, Capture Screenshot, and Refresh Desktop Map.
- Desktop monitoring uses the account’s effective entitlement when deciding how long to keep stale linked-desktop status visible. Active paid cloud tiers are no longer treated like Free for that specific retention window.
- Multiple open workspace tabs coordinate recent desktop activity polling more efficiently, reducing duplicated browser requests without changing desktop playback behavior.
Account, plans, and site copy
- Privacy, Terms, Purchase Terms, Refunds, Licence, and Cookies pages were updated to describe current workspace behavior, account data, Automation Library limits, Flow Canvas data, desktop linking, integrations, retention, and plan fallback more accurately.
- Desktop Pro remains a one-time desktop licence. Cloud Plus, Cloud Power, and Cloud Max are separate online subscription tiers for workspace limits while active.
- Settings was simplified around customer preferences and shortcuts. Browser session diagnostics were removed from Settings; desktop status remains on the Dashboard and Desktop Map.
- Profile and Dashboard cards now use theme-aware surfaces and text colors, so light mode is easier to read.
Security and reliability
- Production dependency maintenance was completed for the web app and Functions production dependency set.
- Security hardening for hosted pages and backend-owned account data was staged in source during May. It is not listed here as a user-visible protection until it has been deployed and verified.
Known limitations
- Flow Canvas desktop actions depend on a linked Windows desktop that is online, authenticated, and compatible with the selected action.
- Cloud workspace notes are rolling monthly summaries, not a single installer build number.
